When artist Li and her architect boyfriend become snowbound in their new home, only one thing could make it worse: his ex and her new husband showing up to get stuck there as well. Robin Brooks (playwright) is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her work has placed in the Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Competition, the Austin Film Festival, and the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild and is a 2017 finalist in the Henley Rose Playwright Competition for Women. She currently has plays opening in Spokane and Seattle, Washington, in June, as well as an upcoming reading in Prescott, Arizona. Find her at screenplaywriteher.weebly.com.
Tim Vance (director) grew up acting in the Lyric Opera of Chicago Children’s Chorus and studied Theatre at Harper College. Tim was a sketch writer and comedian in Williams Street Repertory’s Improv and Comedy troupe for two seasons. He also appeared as Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, in two LAB series (Technicolor Life and A Bit O’ Wit ‘N Th’ Burbs), and voiced the Prologue in Little Shop of Horrors. Recent directing credits include Six Characters in Search of an Author (Theatrevolt) and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Theater Underground). Recent acting credits include Bill Fordham in August Osage County (MCC Black Box Theatre), Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher (EDGE Theatre NFP), and Lurch in The Addams Family (Woodstock Musical Theatre Company). Tim currently works as an accountant and actor and lives in Chicago with his cat, Rockafeller.
